Description
The distillery that produces Hakushu Single Malt is located at the top of Mount Kaikomagatake, in the middle of a forest. The Single Malt is strongly influenced by this location and its climate, and is often referred to as ‘green whisky’. Unlike Distiller's Reserve, which gives no indication of age, this Hakushu Single Malt matures for twelve years before bottling. It has won several international awards, including the title of ‘Best Whisky in the World’ at the 2015 International Whisky Competition.

Tasting
Nose: floral, slightly smoky with a hint of salt.
