Bottled at 58%, this Oban 11 Year Old Special Release 2023 is finished in ex-Caribbean rum casks. A rich, lively Oban that retains the fusion of island Highland styles typical of the distillery's character, while blending exotic fruit and sugar cane aromas brought by the rum cask finish.

Nose: Oban is both sweet and intense. It reveals marine aromas of kelp and dune landscapes. There's a hint of iodine, followed by notes of citrus fruit and sugar cane. Mango adds further accents.

Palate: Oban Diageo Special Release 2023 develops smoothly on the tongue with a fruity character. It seduces with salty notes and a spicy component.

Finish: The finish is short but powerful on the palate. The single malt leaves a sweet aftertaste.
