Scheurebe is a German white wine grape obtained in 1916 by Georges Scheu at the Alzey Station by crossing Sylvaner and Riesling.

Eye: This is a white wine with a pale yellow colour.

Nose: The accentuated bouquet is mainly reminiscent of blackcurrants, but also, to a lesser extent, mango, tangerine, lime, peach and very ripe pears.

Aging potential: 3 to 4 years

Serving temperature: To be drunk chilled, between 10 and 12°C.

Food pairing: Ideal as an aperitif, it also goes well with spicy dishes and shellfish.
