Eau de vie de kirsch Zoug
Eaux-de-Vie
70cl- Unit
Description
In 1823, farmer Johann Baptist Etter began distilling cherry brandy on his small Bergli farm in Menzingen. From 1870 onwards, distillation was carried out on a larger scale and the first Etter distillery was opened. A bottle of Etter Vieux & Noble contains nine kilos of cherries of various varieties from the Zug region.
The cherry brandy is a blend of different batches and vintages, and the undisputed classic product of the house. It is then stored for 12 to 24 months in stainless steel vats. Etter Vieux & Noble is ideal as a digestif, and can even refine fruit salads or drinks based on mineral water or juice, giving them a "hint of cherry".
Tasting
Floral and fruity, with cherries dominating and a hint of bitter almond.
