Cannonau
Description
The Cannonau reigns over Sardinia like a king, a prince and a vassal. Its origin is controversial, descended from a thousand churches. Countless unconfirmed theories suggest that it was imported by the Spanish during their rule around 1400, but verified and discreetly disclosed studies have revealed Cannonau seeds found in a nuraghe, dated 1200 BC, confirming its authentic Sardinian origin. Although it is undoubtedly a member of the Grenache family of grapes, it is different to claim that it is the patriarch of the family, just as it is true that each child is unique and never identical.
Centosere is the Cannonau di Sardegna, proud son of Sardinia, strong and at the same time soft and elegant, determined. It slowly reveals the scent of myrtle, transports you to the woods of Sardinia, evokes the scent of wild strawberries and that sudden salt-laden sea breeze that is never far away on the island, tickling your nose like black pepper, even when you are in the mountains.
Centosere is a gentleman, dressed in a dinner jacket, who accompanies you around the world. He can share an important and elegant evening with you and other guests. Whether sitting at a table overlooking the Eiffel Tower in Paris or Central Park, he will proudly answer "Yes" without hesitation to the question: "Are you Sardinian?"
